Antique Khotan rug with a high knot count and precise attention to detail. We love that with each border layer there is a completely different pattern. The symbols provide endless wonder and study. We see plenty of blossoming fruit, flowing water, mountains as well as protection from evil wishes throughout. Excellent condition with slight color fading that is consistent with its age. A true show stopper of a piece.
