Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Heir Looms. We take great pride in the craftsmanship and history of every piece in our collection. We understand that selecting the perfect rug for your space is an important decision. If your purchase is not quite right, we are happy to assist within the parameters of our return policy outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Vintage Rugs and In-Stock Modern Rugs may be returned within 3 days of delivery. Notification must be received within this 3-day window.

  • Items must be in original condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any damages incurred in transit.

  • A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns.

  • Orders held in our warehouse (i.e., purchased and stored) are subject to the same 3-day return window from the date of purchase.

Custom & Made-to-Order Rugs

Custom and made-to-order pieces are created specifically for you.

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.

  • Once production begins, all sales are final.

  • In the rare event of a defect, Heir Looms will work directly with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Refunds & Store Credit

If your return meets the criteria above:

  • Refunds will be issued less a 10% restocking fee and the cost of shipping both ways.

  • Alternatively, customers may opt for store credit, which provides the full sale price less shipping costs.

  • Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received and inspected to confirm it remains in original condition.

Sale & Promotional Orders

  • Black Friday, final sale, and promotional sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Advertised sale prices are valid only during the promotional period and cannot be retroactively applied to past or future orders.

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return authorization, please email info@heirlooms.co within 3 days of delivery.
Once approved, repackage the item in its original materials and ship it to:

Important Notes

  • Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

  • Returns that arrive damaged or outside the return window will not qualify for refund or store credit.
