An early 20th century antique hand knotted Persian Malayer rug showcasing a central medallion design decorated with an all-over floral field. This rug comes from the city of Malayer located within the providence of Hamadan. This area in Iran has a rich weaving culture dating back over a century with individual weavers crafting some of the finest handmade rugs in the world.
