Originally woven as a utilitarian floor covering or inside of a tent as a room divider. Goat hair was commonly used in kilim rugs for both its strength as well as its water-resistant properties, it's texture similar in feel to sisal. Best used with a rug pad or layered to prevent slipping. Can also be used for upholstery.

- Width: The shortest side of the rug.
- Length: The longer side of the rug. If your rug has fringe, it will be on these ends.
please note that rug measurements do not include fringes (typically .5-1" long)
While we make every effort to accommodate for shrinkage during the washing phase of production, our handmade rugs may experience slight size variations of up to 3"-4".
