Chinese Art Deco S-AN2420
Description
This vintage Chinese Deco rug features a softly abstract composition rendered in a muted palette of slate blue, camel, sand, and warm clay. Graphic, almost calligraphic motifs float across the field, giving the piece a quiet sense of movement and modernity despite its age.
Handwoven in wool with a low, tight pile, the rug has aged beautifully, with gentle wear and natural fading that add depth and character rather than distraction. The color blocking and asymmetrical design make it especially well suited for contemporary interiors—equally at home in a minimalist space or layered into a more collected room.
Subtle imperfections and variations are consistent with age and craftsmanship, and are part of what make this rug truly one of a kind.
