Oushak R-AS3240
Description
This handwoven Oushak runner features a central medallion within an open field framed by geometric motifs. Produced in Western Turkey during the mid-20th century, it is constructed with a wool pile on a cotton foundation, reflecting the long-standing weaving traditions of the region. The medallion format and spacious composition are characteristic of Oushak rugs, which have been woven in Anatolia for centuries and remain closely tied to the history of Ottoman textile production.
