Mahal P1256
Description
Colors: Brown, tan, gray, gold, bronze
Pile: Low
Meticulously woven early 20th century palace size rug with the timeless Herati pattern. The small scale of the all over design sits inside of a similarly colored turtle motif border. The deep earthy brown tones are brilliant but not overpowering to the room. The high quality wool and intricate weaving are evidence of the importance of this piece in history and today. One of the unique features of this rug is that the border echoes the colors of the field which allows for easier placement in a room. This rug is also highly valued for its lack of a center medallion and rare coloration that does not feature any reds. Very good condition with even wear, wear level 3. Drapery feel and movement but not thin. Soft underfoot.

- Width: The shortest side of the rug.
- Length: The longer side of the rug. If your rug has fringe, it will be on these ends.
please note that rug measurements do not include fringes (typically .5-1" long)
While we make every effort to accommodate for shrinkage during the washing phase of production, our handmade rugs may experience slight size variations of up to 3"-4".
