Description
This handwoven Tabriz rug features a central medallion within a corner-and-field composition framed by an intricate floral border. Produced in Northwest Iran during the mid-20th century, it is woven with a wool pile on a cotton foundation, reflecting the refined weaving practices of Tabriz workshops. The medallion-and-corner arrangement and dense floral ornamentation are characteristic of this longstanding Persian tradition.
