Turkmen L1241
Description
Colors: umber, ivory, sage, gold
Pile: Medium-Low.
Vintage Turkmen Bokhara woven in the 1970's. Bokhara rugs are known for their distinctive designs and high knot densities. This rug features the classic gul in a repetitive linear pattern. What's interesting about this rug is the importance that the weaver put into the border. It carries a significance of its own with its size and multiple layers. This rug will be beautiful on its own but it can also be layered over a larger rug. Soft pile, good worn condition. Safe for high traffic.
- Width: The shortest side of the rug.
- Length: The longer side of the rug. If your rug has fringe, it will be on these ends.
please note that rug measurements do not include fringes (typically .5-1" long)
While we make every effort to accommodate for shrinkage during the washing phase of production, our handmade rugs may experience slight size variations of up to 3"-4".
- If your space requires a very specific size, please notify us promptly. We will do our best to meet your needs.
