Made by hand in Thailand from vintage Hmong cloth. Hmong cloth embroidery is a traditional tribal art and storytelling practice. Since Hmong language was unwritten until the 1950's, these unique textiles were made to represent stories and folklore in terms of pattern and symbols.
These two pillows are my favorite in the current collection. They are large and beautifully detailed with hand embroidered designs and shells. There are two small stains on both pillows. Please see all photos. Discoloration and other imperfections are expected in vintage textiles and are not considered defects.

Imperfections such as discoloration, pulls at seams where panels are sewn, and variations in pattern are innate to vintage and handmade materials and cannot be considered defects.
